Down the escalator after registration
I’m back from San Diego and my first trip to Comic-Con. I met a lot of generous and talented people and received a lot of good advice. Still trying to catch up and get my sleep pattern sorted out.
I’ll post some of the many photos I took this week. There was so much to take in it was impossible to see and do everything but I did the majority of things I set out to do.
I imagine many people took the same photo as I did above. This is coming down the escalator after registering and picking up my pass.

Business Cards
My business cards arrived a couple of days ago. 250 of each design. I prefer the robot ones. These are a basic matt card with a white background. They do the job nicely.
Below are 3 versions of business cards I’ve created. I’m not sure which, if any I will get printed yet to take to Comic-Con. I’ll post any others I create. If anyone has any suggestions for improvements or which one to use then feel free to speak out!

Spaceship

Spacestation

Robot

My new passport has arrived at last and my flight is now booked for San Diego! It seems there are no direct flights so I have a couple of stops to make on the way. Not long to wait now!

I have wanted to go to San Diego Comic-con for many years now, but every year there’s been some excuse not to go. This time there should be no excuse! Or so I thought…
I’m still waiting for my new passport to be delivered before I can book a flight. Should be here this week though. I’ve been working many hours of overtime to pay for the trip. I just need to sort out my portfolio and some business cards now and hope that everything goes to plan.
