I’ve put together a Preview for Grand Theft Robot which is currently at the printers. Hopefully it will be delivered in time for San Diego Comic-con. I’ve updated the site with a new Grand Theft Robot page to show this preview.
Here’s a digital sketch of Noah building a robot from Grand Theft Robot.
Page 6 artwork for Grand Theft Robot. “Can’t see any robots yet!” I hear you cry, maybe somebody’s stolen them! In the meantime here’s the end of the last scene followed by the start of Circus getting roughed up by bounty hunters Quick & Chase – They’re British and they’re mean!
Grand Theft Robot page 5 artwork.
Here’s another page from Grand Theft Robot. This is part of a submission myself and writer Chris Reilly are putting together. Need to finish it this week so I’ll post some more completed pages this week.
Here’s a panel from page 4 of Grand Theft Robot. Here Noah taps into an old computer in a discarded base with Mud Doppler tagging along. This is painted digitally.
Grand Theft Robot is written by Chris Reilly.
This is the artwork for page 2 of Grand Theft Robot. This shows an interview between David Frost and Senator Keating viewed on a TV screen. This interview reveals information that sets the scene for the world this story is set in. Grand Theft Robot is written by Chris Reilly and illustrated by Paul Burrow.
Here is another concept scene from Grand Theft Robot. Here the characters Mud Doppler & Circus stand guarding an old space shuttle nose wreck in the junkyard.
Here are 2 character designs. The first is a robot that originates from a pencil sketch I did over a year ago. The second is a soldier type character. Both appear on page 1 of Grand Theft Robot.
