This is becoming an annual event, Ronnie O’Sullivan wins the world snooker championship while I paint a picture. Well done again Ronnie. Make sure you come back next year to defend your title again and overtake Davis & Hendry in the next few years!
Anyway I’m working on a Star Wars Episode 7 Han Solo. Can an older Harrison Ford still pull this character off? I hope so.
Well done Ronnie O’Sullivan. 2013 World Snooker Champion!
Update 27/03/13 the work done on the face is starting to be worth the effort now. Still not perfect, too happy looking at the moment but the likeness is getting closer. (EDIT: 07/04/13 What the hell was I thinking, this looks nothing like her… please look at the final image to see improvements :D)
Felicia Day Mass Effect painting update 16
I have a few days off from the day job which I am using as a finishing off week. Felicia day Shepard from Mass Effect is a definite to finish this week in time for the Geek & Sundry 1 year anniversary. I shall be adding the G&S logo onto the armour before it’s finished. Anyway you’ll notice the face has changed again slightly as I’m still not happy with it. Getting better now though.
I’m working on a piece of art for the Sci-Fi short film Mouse-X. I produced the storyboards and concept art for the film last year. Since then the film has been shot and is currently in post production.
I have been asked to do the poster art based on the original concept piece I did with the main character peering through a large man size mouse hole. The new artwork needs more detail and needs to resemble the actor who plays the main character Anderson.
Here is a section of the work in progress and below that the original concept art. The film has it’s own website now Mouse-X website
Latest update number 14. Fireballs painted into the sky 3 days before the Meteor flew through the Russian sky. Not saying I predicted it but… 😀 Work done on the gun and armour also.
Felicia Day Mass Effect painting update 14
Latest update number 13. Distractions have kept me away but I’m back and close to the finishing line. The most fun part for me is finishing off the painting with detail and lighting. I’ve started on the armour now.
